Officer, I am testing my car
A Sunday drive costs a woman her car - for a week.
At about 3:25 p.m. the woman was caught ‘testing her car on the highway’, doing 150 km/h in a 90 zone.
“A woman learned the hard way about driving her brand new car. She had only had the car for three days, took it out on Sunday and shortly after, met up with the North Okanagan Traffic Services,” said RCMP Spokesman Gord Molendyk.
She was given a $368 ticket for excessive speeding and it will be a week before she gets to enjoy her new car again. It was impounded for seven days.
