Salmon Arm in Hockeyville final four

Salmon arm is the BC last community still in the running to be crowned this year's Kraft Hockeyville.

The community has been duking it out with others around the country in hopes of winning $100,000 in arena upgrades and the chance to host an NHL pre-season game next fall.

The Shaw Centre, home to the BCHL's Salmon Arm Silverbacks, is one of the final four arenas left in the competition.

Salmon Arm now has until the end of the day tomorrow (Monday) to bring in more votes than the Medican Multi-plex in Sylvan Lake Alberta.

If they can do that, they will win the battle of the West and will go head-to-head against the best in the East to win the whole prize.

The remaining contenders in the East are Bedeque, PEI and Kingston, NS.

By making it to the final four, Salmon Arm is guaranteed at least $50,000, but if you want to help ensure they take the top prize you can vote here to help them in their quest to be named Kraft Hockeyville 2014.
