Ditched near Salmon Arm
RCMP in Salmon Arm are following up after a driver reported being forced off the road.
The incident occurred about 10:30 Wednesday morning.
According to police a vehicle travelling west along the Trans Canada Highway near Pierre's Point attempted to pass a semi on snowy roads.
The driver was unable to return to the appropriate lane prior to meeting with oncoming traffic.
The actions of the driver forced a vehicle travelling east to go off the highway and into the ditch.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
RCMP say they have obtained the licence plate of the offending driver and they will be continuing their investigation.
