Vernon boy killed in crash
Dante Tiberius Darkazanli has been identified as the victim in a multi-vehicle crash near Lytton last week.
A young boy from Vernon has been identified as the youth who died in a traffic accident near Lytton last week.
Dante Tiberius Darkazanli, 15, was a passenger in an SUV on Feb. 21 that was part of a four-vehicle crash on Highway 1.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m., approximately 25 kilometres east of Lytton.
Darkazanli was found deceased at the scene.
The highway was closed for several hours as crews worked to extinguish a tanker truck that had burst into flames.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate.
