RCMP investigate possible kidnapping
RCMP in Vernon are investigating a case involving assault, forcible confinement and threats.
Police say the incident unraveled in two separate locations - in the area of 35 Avenue and 34 Street then in the 3700 block of Pleasant Valley Road sometime between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb 20.
The vehicle involved in the incident is a blue Toyota 4Runner SUV.
While other details are sketchy, police have revealed two people have been arrested.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity involving as many as four or five people around the times and locations mentioned to contact Cst. Bowhey at the Vernon RCMP Detachment or email [email protected]
Through the course of the investigation police have also learned a couple were seen helping the 28-year-old female victim.
Police are asking them to contact the detachment as they might be able to provide valuable information.
