Shoppers Drug Mart windows smashed

Two men are suspected after a Family Day break-in at the Shoppers Drug Mart on 31st Avenue in Vernon.

On Feb 10, at about 5 a.m., the Vernon RCMP responded to a glass break alarm at the drug store.

RCMP Spokesman Gord Molendyk says entry was made into the business by knocking out the front window.

The thieves stole small PlayStation 3 controllers, and various other electronics from behind the till area.

Molendyk says the tools suspected as being used in the break and enter were seized from outside the business.

It appears two men were involved in this break and enter however at this point they do not have descriptions of them to release to the public.

The police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the break and enter or noticed two men in the area around the time of the incident to please call 250 545-7171 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
