Construction accident injures worker
A construction worker became trapped after an accident at Predator Ridge on Thursday afternoon.
The worker was part of a group building a new subdivision, and was operating a front-end loader when it tipped over.
“The driver was shaken up,” says Doug Imrich with the Vernon Fire Department.
“We had to extricate him through the front windshield of the loader.”
The man was then taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
