Truck and new snowmobiles stolen

A brown truck carrying two expensive snowmobiles was stolen Monday evening in Salmon Arm.

RCMP say the truck was taken from Shuswap Xtreme Recreation on 4th Avenue SW between 5 and 8 p.m.

They are asking for the public's help locating the brown 2001 Ford F350 pickup truck with license plate number ER 8938.

The truck was a flat deck carrying two snowmobiles, a 2014 green Arctic Cat M9000 HCR valued at over $17,299 and a 2014 orange Arctic Cat M8000 Sno Pro valued at $15,549.
