Thieves made off with a motorcycle during a break-in at 4 Seasons Motor Sports in Vernon early last Friday morning.
Police responded after an alarm sounded at the business on 25 Avenue shortly before 5 a.m.
A pick-up truck, which had apparently been stolen, was used to rip open the doors to the business.
Thieves made off with a 2012 Suzuki RMZ 450 motorcycle.
A second machine, a Polaris RZR 570 was outside the business when police arrived.
Witnesses told police thieves were attempting to load the machine into a cube van when it appeared the suspects were scared off.
The cube van suspected as being used in the break-in was located in the 4400 block of 16 Avenue.
The van, which belongs to a Vernon business, was towed by police for identification purposes.
Police continue to investigate.
