Trailer fire on Highway 97
(Ray Hill took the raw video. It shows the owners scrambling to remove two of the sleds after they unhooked their truck.)
Vernon Fire Rescue responded to a trailer fire early Saturday morning.
A trailer carrying four snowmobiles caught ablaze traveling on Highway 97 towards Vernon.
The driver pulled over when he was notified by people passing by that there were flames coming from his trailer.
The owner removed two of the sleds, while the other two were destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
