Another patient goes AWOL in Vernon
Vernon RCMP are putting the public on notice after another person walked away from a medical facility before finishing their treatment.
This time, 30-year-old Dale Chernenkoff left a Vernon facility on Dec. 20, and he is known to have relatives throughout BC and Alberta. Police are concerned for his safety and are requesting assistance in locating Chernenkoff so that he can receive necessary medical attention.
Chernenkoff is described as 5’10 and weighing 240 pounds. He is described as heavy set, with long blondish/brown hair and may also have a slight beard. He was last seen wearing a black leather coat.
The Vernon RCMP have no photograph of the man to assist with identification. Anyone with information is asked to call police or CrimeStoppers.
