And officer’s responded to one report of a Scrooge in the area, after a vehicle was broken into Sunday morning. The theft occurred in the 4000 block of 29th Street where a box of presents and other personal items were stolen from a vehicle.

According to police, thieves smashed out the passenger window and stole the presents, which were in plain view.
