Robo invasion at the OSC
The Okanagan Science Centre (OSC) will be hosting a robot invasion on December 21 and 28.
Vernon-natives and brothers Hudson and Nelson Schier - the Robo Bros - will show off their award winning robotics.
On Saturday December 21 the pair will do a presentation for guests showcasing their dancing octo-bot. Their design recently earned them their sixth title at the annual Western Canada RoboCup Junior.
On Saturday December 28 the brothers will host a hands-on event for robotics and electronics enthusiasts of all ages.
Admission is free for OSC members; regular admission applies for non-members.
The OSC is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to “ inspire scientific inquiry through dynamic and interactive learning experiences; to encourage all ages to appreciate the relevance and universality of science, and its application in our region.”
