Give the gift of quality health care
With only two weeks remaining in the campaign, the 26th annual Light a Bulb for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation is below the halfway mark of their fundraising target.
“We were hoping to be at least halfway there by now,” said Campaign Co-Chair Richard Finn, of their $250,000 goal.
“The Foundation is very grateful for the donations we have received, but we still have to raise $144,000 to get us to where we need to be.”
With $106,000 raised to date, Light a Bulb is at 43 per cent of its goal to support the Building a Tower of Care Campaign, Phase II, which will furnish and equip the 6th and 7th floors of Polson Tower.
“We are fortunate to have excellent, dedicated medical and support staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital,” said Finn. “What we need now are beds, new equipment and more rooms. Any shortfalls to the campaign will result in delays to patients getting the care they need.”
