Weather playing havoc on drivers

Conditions on Highway 97 between Kelowna and Vernon are quickly deteriorating, with three accidents happening within a span of 15 minutes near Crystal Waters Road.

Only minor injuries have been reported, but traffic has slowed to single lane traffic in both directions.

Police are asking drivers to use extreme caution as the conditions are expected to worsen, with winds gusting up to 60 kilometres per hour this afternoon and between 2-4 centimetres of snow expected to fall on the roads.
