The Heat men had a strong race, led by Michael Mitchell, as he finished 17th and drove the UBC Okanagan men's cross country team to a fifth place finish in their first multi-school meet at the Canada West level this past Saturday (Oct. 13) at the Vikes Invitational hosted by the University of Victoria at Beacon Hill Park.
