Lest We Forget

Every year at this time of year I post a video of my Grandmother to my Facebook page.

She is a great lady at a grand old age today and what is more, she has the perspective of two world wars. That perspective has helped shape her life and she insists that as much as we may struggle in the western world today, we really don't understand the meaning of the word “struggle”.

She shares a fascinating and sometimes heartbreaking tale of determination, struggle and ultimately victory by raising her family through difficult times.
