The Enderby Storm Elite U14B fastball team is on their way to the Western Canadian Fastball Championships being held in Winnipeg.
The Enderby team won the provincial championships in Langley July 14 to earn the trip to the Westerns.
The squad went through the provincials undefeated at 8-0 and only allowed 13 runs. They closed out the championships by beating Langford 4-3 in the final.
The Western Canadian Championship is a nine-team tournament made up of the top two teams from each of the four western provinces along with the host team. The championships run Thursday through Sunday.
The Storm Elite will start off the championships with a game against the Alberta champion Red Deer Rage on Thursday at 11 a.m.
The team is made up of girls from the ages of 12 to 14 from Okanagan and Trail.
