The Toronto Blue Jays took the American League Wild Card game against the Baltimore Orioles Tuesday night.
The one-game elimination needed extra innings, staying tied at two after a run from Toronto in the bottom of the fifth.
Despite the stalemate for several innings, the game was decisively decided in the 11th inning with a three-run home run by the Jays' Edwin Encarnacion, securing the win 5-2.
The win sends Toronto onto the American League Division Series to face off against the Texas Rangers, the number 1 seed in the American League.
