Record night for Falcons

Justin Flores established one club record and tied another Wednesday as the Kelowna Falcons outslugged the Wenatchee AppleSox 12-8.

Flores drove in four runs setting a club record for RBI's in a season with 37 and drilled his club record tying seventh home run in the victory.

Both previous records for RBI's in a single season (33) and home runs were set by Kyle Pearson in 2012.

He drove in one run with a first inning ground out, hit a two-run go-ahead home run in the third then drove in a fourth run with a double during a seven run sixth.

Nat Hamby went six innings allowing 11 hits and three runs while striking out two to earn his third win of the season.

The bullpen gave up five runs as Wenatchee clawed their way back in after trailing 12-3 after six innings.

The Falcons will look for the series and season series win against the AppleSox on Thursday night at Elk Stadium.

The first 150 fans get an autographed Falcons baseball. First pitch is 6:35.
