The Kelowna Rockets are getting closer to icing their full line-up with the arrival of two more players from NHL training camps.
Forward Justin Kirkland (Nashville) and defenceman Mitch Wheaton (Detroit) have both been sent back to the Rockets after taking part in the early part of main camp.
This leaves only captain Madison Bowey (Washington) and forward Tyrell Goulbourne (Philadelphia) still at NHL camps.
Wheaton and Kirkland are expected to be in the Rockets line-up this weekend when they travel north for a pair of games in Prince George Friday and Saturday.
The Rockets are coming off a convincing 6-1 season opening win over the Kamloops Blazers while the Cougars split their opening two games on the road, winning 6-3 in Portland before falling 7-0 in Tri-City.
The Rockets don't return home until Oct 1 when they host the Vancouver Giants.
