For the Edmonton Eskimos, the only numbers that were the final score of a 26-22 CFL loss to the Calgary Stampeders at Commonwealth Stadium Thursday night.
But for thousands of fans, the numbers that may have counted the most were 280731C — the winning digits in the game's 50-50 draw worth $348,534.
The game drew more than 40,000 people, many of whom stood in line for much of the first half to buy tickets for a draw that grew dramatically in scope when a $71,000-prize went unclaimed from a July 11 home game and was carried over.
The Eskimos football club was unable to make the draw during the game due to the massive sales volume, but released the numbers on its website overnight.
The winner has until 4 p.m. next Monday to claim the prize.
A similar amount of money generated from Thursday's 50-50 sales will go to support amateur football in northern Alberta.
