Family displaced after fire
Several people had to escape form their burning home last night in Oliver. Their house was completely destroyed by the flames.
Fire crews were called to Black Sage Road and Inkaneep Road, in Oliver, just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
Chief Dan Skaros says the house was completely engulfed when crews arrived on scene.
"Everyone was out of the house when we arrived, one lady was in a van down the road and had to flag us in because it was a hard driveway to find."
Flames spread from the home to the grass starting another small fire, which was quickly extinguished.
Investigators are on scene trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
