Update: The Osoyoos Health Centre will reopen to the public Tuesday, January 24 at 8:00 a.m.
Work crews have completed repair and restoration work to the building after a burst pipe caused flooding to the facility last Friday.
The Osoyoos Health Centre will be temporarily closed.
Lannea Parfitt the communications officer of Interior Health Central says the centre was closed last Friday after a pipe burst and flooded the facility.
"The centre will be closed for an undetermined time to allow for extensive cleanup to be done at the facility."
If you have an appointment scheduled at the Health Centre this week, staff will be calling if other arrangements need to made.
In the meantime, the Health Centre phone line is being rerouted to the Oliver Health Centre. If you have questions, staff will be available at (250) 495-6433.
Parfitt says Interior Health apologizes for the inconvenience and will notify the public when the Health Centre is able to reopen.
