A pick-up truck accidentally drove too far into a carport Sunday.

Around 2 p.m. an elderly man drove his vehicle into a carport, in Keremeos, collapsing the support beam had dropping the roof on the truck.

The man was able to get out on his own, but the vehicle had to stay in place until a structural engineer deemed the area safe.

No word on exactly how much it will cost to repair both the truck and carport.
