A small wildfire north of Chase is classified as out of control.
Three B.C. Wildfire Service personnel are responding to the scene today.
The wildfire was first reported Thursday and is currently mapped at 0.2 hectares. It is roughly five kilometres north of Chase.
"Yesterday, a helicopter was dropping water on the incident to hold the fire," says fire information officer Kelsey Dunkley.
The suspected cause of the fire is lightning.
