Do you shop south of the border?
A recent poll conducted by Insights West shows 74 per cent of people in the Lower mainland have made at least one shopping trip to the United States over the past 12 months.
The online poll surveyed 1,077 adults in the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas.
On average, 5.2 trips were taken over the past 12 months with the norm being three.
Approximately 49 per cent crossed the border three or more times while 15 per cent crossed the border to shop 13 or more times.
The poll also shows that one of five surveyed say they are driving to the United States to shop more frequently than they did a year ago while 12 per cent say they are travelling less frequently.
