One of the biggest debates this time of year centres around the timing of Christmas and holiday music.

Shoppers Drug Mart drew the ire of shoppers when it trotted out the holiday classics right at Halloween.

An aggressive Facebook campaign by angry shoppers prompted the drug store chain to pull the music until later in the month.

There are those that believe Christmas music shouldn't be played until December 1 - others thing the middle of December while still others are okay with music in November to get people in the holiday spirit.

How early is too early?

When should Christmas music be played?
