Efforts to reunite Luna the Killer Whale with its family are under way.
Luna has been residing off the west coast of Vancouver Island since July 2001 and has been a growing concern because she's getting too close to boats.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans says an attempt to move Luna to Juan De Fuca Strait will be made sometime next month with the hopes it will reunite with its pod.
