The union representing 80,000 federal government workers has decided to start rolling strikes at midnight Wednesday to put pressure on federal negotiators.
The workers, mostly program managers represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), join about 40,000 public service workers who already are engaged in rotating strikes.
They include workers from Parks Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency and Treasury Board. Another 10,000 federal employees will be eligible to strike six days from now.
