With the one year anniversary of the start of the Okanagan Mountain Park fire this past Monday, many are pausing to reflect on what is was like one year ago and thankful that thus far, nothing similar has occurred.
The Filmon Commission looked at last year's fire, heard from the public and made recommendations to the government. The government said they would try to implement all the recommendations, although it would take some time.
