In Kelowna, the detachment's top cop says he has noticed an increase in drug activity downtown, while in Vernon, at least one business owner is leaving downtown because of problems there.
In Penticton, the Peach City has stated "the party is over," announcing a crackdown on drug use and bad behaviour downtown.
