An apparent shortage of doctors in British Columbia is taking a toll on walk-in medical clinics.

The founding director of the Walk-In Clinics of BC Association says clinics are short-staffed, meaning doctors don't always have time to see every patient needing care.

Mike McLoughlin says 25 walk-in clinics have closed in B.C. over the last five years.
