Rise and shine – but perhaps a little earlier than you'd like.
The B.C. Cherry Growers Association is acknowledging complaints from numerous neighbours about noisy early morning work to dry wet cherries, like hovering helicopters and large fans.
If farmers don't blow the water off cherries quickly enough, they split – rendering them worthless.
However, as Castanet first reported this week, some neighbours aren't fussy about being roused from their beds.
