The need for organs far exceeds the supply.
To combat those numbers, Diversified Rehabilitation Group founded the Kidney Foundation HR Initiative that encourages employers to get their employees to consider becoming organ donors as they sign employment documents.
Diversified CEO Derek Sienko started the concept, signing on Diversified as the first employer in B.C. to adopt a voluntary organ-donor registration program as a human-resources practice.
