Poll: dog poop enforcement

Since January 2015, bylaw officers with the Regional District of Central Okanagan have issued only one ticket to people for not picking up after their pets.

Communications Officer Bruce Smith said the district has also doled out 15 warnings over the past 15 months.

He stressed the district takes a proactive approach, providing green bags at regional parks as well as educating and encouraging pet owners to stoop and scoop.
