Some type of flying object was turning heads in Rutland Friday afternoon, according to a Kelowna resident.

Sebastien Latour was driving near Highway 33 when he noticed some people outside Rutland Glass looking at the sky.

“I asked them what they were looking at, and they said, ‘We don’t know,’” Latour said.

Latour described the object as a white orb that looked like a miniature moon, which was “cruising, but not too fast.”
