Wednesday's Bill 37, the "Health Sector (Facilities Subsector) Collective Agreement Act" was toted by the Liberal government as the best way to end the four day old strike and protect patient care.
Three days later the strike is still going on with no end in site. In fact, it appears it has antagonized the province's labour movement in way that has been seen since the 80's with the Bennett government and Solidarity. On the other hand, some might think that such a clash between the Campbell government and the province's labour movement was just a matter of time.
