Phase 2 of Our Rutland is underway and residents are invited to indicate their top two favourite project ideas online or at an open house.
“In collaboration with the Rutland Community Panel, we are pleased to unveil the five potential projects which contain a mix of ideas received during the first round of public engagement held February 3 to the 21,” says project manager, Michelle Kam.
“Once we know what proposed projects residents prefer, we will carry out a feasibility analysis to determine detailed costs and ensure the project can be realized by September.”
A total of $100,000 has been budgeted for the project.
Projects in no particular order include:
- Roxby Park Enhancements
- Fitness/Urban Movement Park
- Public Market Space
- Aurora Park Enhancements
- Community Mural Program
Residents can have their say online by visiting Our Rutland at getinvolved.kelowna.ca until March 23, or attend the open house at the Rutland Activity Centre located at 765 Dodd Rd., Thursday, March 13, 4 - 6 p.m.
You can let us know right now. Which of the five short listed projects do you support?
