Hello there, my names Jared Hooper, I'm 23 years old and have lived in the Vernon area all my life; although I've travelled and worked all over in that time.

I have my own contract hand falling company but currently am working for the Ministry of Forest and Range up in Fort St. John on their Parattack crew (also known as a Smoke Jumper). Smoke Jumpers are a specially trained forestry fire fighter that jump from planes using parachutes to get into remote forest fires and have fast response times.

When I'm not jumping out of perfectly good aircraft into forest fires I like to spend my time outside with friends and family.

I enjoy passing the time by riding my motorcycles, skiing on the awesome ski hills we have here in the Okanagan or just being outside in general and being active.
