Dancing Barefoot

On July 16th, Laetitia Zonzambé and her band performed live at Stuart Park in Kelowna, a presentation of the Centre Culturel Francophone de l’Okakagan & Parks Alive!

A gentle breeze under a hot summer sun, the singer, native from the Central African Republic, has been able to make us dream and dance to the sound of drums, guitars, melodies and lullabies sprinkled with her personal touches from the distant continent.

The artist, who now lives in Montreal, continued her tour of the West by performing in Vancouver from July 19th to 21st.

Peachland might be a town of only 5,200 but they definitely know how to rock the place with the 6th annual Dancin’ Barefoot Music Festival in Cousins Park. In the afternoon, extremely talented teens from everywhere in the Valley went on stage to perform, while in the evening, excellent bands gave a show everyone will remember for a long time, under a full moon shining over Okanagan Lake.

Picture the Okanagan would like to thank the organization for the privileged backstage access and we hope to see you again next year!
