Accused sex offender in court
An accused sex offender who targeted boys made a brief appearance in a Penticton court room on Monday.
Robert John Graham, who last resided in West Kelowna, is facing three charges of sexual assault and two of sexual interference with persons under the age of 16 and 14.
The RCMP have said in the past that there may have been more victims.
Following prior court appearances, Graham was released on bail with strict conditions that included no contact with anyone under the age of 18, who is unaccompanied by an adult.
Graham was slated to appear for a pre-sentence report, Monday morning, but crown counsel was not prepared to proceed and the case was adjourned to fix a date.
Judge Meg Shaw admonished crown counsel saying the case, dating back a few years, should have been done in a timely manner.
Whereas crown agreed it shouldn’t have fallen through the cracks.
