Fender bender alert
Poor road conditions and the snowy weather likely contributed to the motor vehicle accident on Naramata Road Tuesday afternoon.
Two vehicles were towed from the site and two people taken to hospital.
The people did not sustain major injuries and as of Wednesday morning, the RCMP did not know if they had been released from hospital.
Wednesday's weather contributed to a few minor car accidents in Penticton and BC Ambulance has been busy with slips and falls.
To ensure people stay safe, the RCMP is asking drivers to slow down.
It is also important that they pull over when they see emergency vehicles, said Cpl. Chris Richardson.
"We are recommending people drive according to the weather and pull over when they see emergency vehicles, because it can be hard to maneuver in the slush and snow," he said.
