Two rescued after jet ski crash
Just as boating season gets under way Penticton fire crews were called out to a rescue on Okanagan Lake Sunday night.
According to Captain Kraiger, a man and a woman were traveling on a jet ski at a high rate of speed around 9 p.m. when they both fell off.
"Our rescue boat went out and picked them up and brought them into to shore for the ambulance. They were both okay, but the lady had a pretty sore back so she did go to hospital to be checked out."
Police confirm alcohol was a factor in the incident. No charges are pending at this time.
