Chow down an Original Grand Slam at a Denny's restaurant and you'll help to support community food banks.

From 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday February 14, Denny's Western Canada will hold its 99 cent Original Grand Slam event in support of local residents in need.

Check out the following participating restaurants for a hot breakfast for less than a buck.

Denny's says all proceeds will be donated to community food banks.

Denny's Kelowna:  2130 Harvey Ave
Denny's Penticton:  939 Burnaby Ave
Denny's Vernon: 4201 32nd Street

There are currently 49 Denny's restaurants in Western Canada.
