A former cop charged with murder has made bail.

Wiens
Keith Gregory Wiens, 56, is charged with second degree murder.
He’s alleged to have killed his common-law spouse, Lynn Kalmring, in their Penticton home August 16.
She was 55.
Wiens appeared in Kelowna court Monday morning. He was unshaven and walked with a limp while being escorted to the prisoner’s box.
His brother and other family members were in attendance as were Kalmring’s family including her sister, daughter and granddaughter.
Kalmring’s family expressed outrage after learning Wiens has been released.
Wiens retired from the RCMP several years ago.
