A fire has destroyed two sheds and two cars in the South Okanagan.

Keremeos volunteer firefighters responded to the fire just before 7 p.m. Thursday at a property on Middle Bench Road.

Public relations officer for the KVFD, Melanie Bagley, says plumes of black smoke were visible when crews arrived on scene.

“18 firefighters responded to find two sheds and adjacent cars engulfed in flames approximately 20 feet high. Although the fire was knocked down quickly, two 8' x 12' sheds were completely destroyed,” says Bagley.

She says the fire is under investigation.
