A coordinated effort between members of the Penticton Drug Task Force and Osoyoos RCMP has resulted in the arrest of four people and seizure of various drugs.

The arrests occurred after police raided a home on Highway 97 in Osoyoos Thursday.

"The officers located and arrested four adults, two females from Osoyoos, one female from Chilliwack and a male from Surrey," says Cpl. Brad Myhre.

"They also located and seized approximately an ounce of crystal meth and smaller quantities of crack cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana."

Myhre says two women were released to appear in court at a later date while the other two adults were held in custody for a scheduled court appearance Friday.

"Numerous charges will be proposed including possession of both methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of ecstasy and breach of bail conditions."
