Health Fair awards handed out

The South Okanagan Health Fair Awards were recently handed out to the following South Okanagan people and businesses:

Business/Corporate Health Promoter: Localmotive Organic Food Operative.

First Nations Champion, awarded to a company/individual/organization that has developed or introduced a product or service which enhances the health and fitness of the First Nations of the South Okanagan: Brenda Baptiste.

Health & Fitness Community Leader, awarded to a company/individual or organization that has demonstrated exemplary service and dedication to enhancing the health and fitness of the citizens of the South Okanagan: Cathie Lauer.

Health & Fitness Educator, awarded to a company/individual/organization who has provided exemplary on-going health and fitness education that is enhancing the health and fitness of the citizens of the South Okanagan: Dr. Sandy Congram.

Health and Wellness Provider, awarded to a company/ individual or organization that has demonstrated exemplary service and dedication to enhancing the health and wellness of our community: Mary Tulk.

Seniors Initiative Leader, awarded to a company/individual or organization who has developed a program, product or service that has enhanced the health and fitness of the senior citizens of the South Okanagan: Anna McIvor.

Youth Initiative Leader, awarded to a company/individual or organization who has developed a program, product or service that has enhanced the health and fitness of the youth of the South Okanagan: Carol Flynn.
