The Penticton RCMP is investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of tools from a construction site.
A trailer parked on a construction site on Heales Avenue was hit by thieves over the weekend, who cut or sawed heavy duty locks off to access the trailer. Construction crews arriving Monday morning noticed the theft.
It’s estimated about $2,000 in tools were taken, according to Const. James Grandy.
There were no witnesses of the theft and police have not been able to identify suspects yet.
